For more than 100 years, Henry County Health Center has been a trusted source of care for generations of families. Behind that history is a community of generous supporters who have helped make local healthcare stronger through gifts to the HCHC Foundation.

From physician recruitment and patient assistance to wellness initiatives and equipment needs, your generosity makes these efforts possible while also providing flexibility to address unexpected opportunities and challenges as they arise.
Community Grant Program
Medication Assistance Program
Need Help Paying for a Medication? The HCHC Foundation offers up to $300 in one-time medication assistance for patients experiencing financial hardship.
To request assistance, simply speak with your healthcare provider at an appointment, send a message through your patient portal, or call. If assistance is appropriate, your provider will submit a request to the Foundation on your behalf. Once approved, the Foundation will coordinate directly with your pharmacy and pay for your prescription when it is ready for pickup.

GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS
Each fall, the HCHC Foundation supports local nonprofits through our Community Grant Program, providing funding for health-related projects and initiatives that improve the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout Henry County and surrounding communities. This program reflects the Foundation’s commitment to strengthening our communities by helping local organizations bring important health resources, programs, and services to those they serve.
We’re currently selecting this year’s grant recipients and look forward to announcing them following our October board meeting. Stay tuned!
2025 Grant Award Winners
The Henry County Health Center Foundation recipients of the 2025 Foundation Grant Program include: Preserve Oakland Mills to support the repairs to reopen the Oakland Mills pedestrian bridge, and Henry County Conservation to support the inclusive playground called Jared’s Park at the Oakland Mills Nature Center.
The HCHC Foundation remains a leading steward of financial resources focused on the future of healthcare and quality of Life in our Henry County communities. The grant opportunities doubled in 2024 to $20,000, an intentional strategy to bring an increased impact to awardees.

The Henry County Health Center Foundation was established to support physician recruitment, community wellness initiatives, continuing staff education, new equipment purchases, to maintain and improve the medical-health services available to all residents of Henry County, and to provide health services which meet the needs of the underprivileged of our community.
